It is another great day in Haiti. We had a great Church Service this morning. We are having a great time together and getting lots of jobs completed. The kitchen cupboards at Luckners are completed except for the doors. Luckners children have poisoned it and will paint it tomorrow. Then I will make doors. I finished Karen's storage closet yesterday, Faith and Sandra will poison it and then paint it.
The School work is progressing nicely and with a couple of hundred kids added tomorrow it will be fun. The Market trip yesterday was interesting as usual, I almost lost it smelling the rotten meat, etc. We are going on a field trip after lunch, 14 people in one small truck, no small feat. The heat is bad but getting somewhat better at standing it. Lots of funtimes with the children. It is always a pleasure to come here, I enjoy it tremendously despite the trip in from PaP.

Hello - What do you mean by "poison it"? Have not heard that expression before pertaining to "cupboards". Sounds like you are all keeping very busy....don't know if I could keep up thart pace!!! :-) Snowing and blowing here - all white again - very pretty.
Take care. Sheila
Hey Dad,
Good to see you posting! From what I recall, 'poisoning it' means coating the wood with a chemical so 'woodeaters' aren't interested, right!?
Seems like you are getting a lot of work done. You still have over a week left though, so try not to overdo it, okay?
Miss you lots!
So great to hear what you guys are up to. Ti Riviere sounds like it was a lot of fun. I'm glad to hear about the walking along the canal. I hope you manage to drag mom out as often as possible. She needs the exercise and the break from the stressful work.
We miss Alex alot here and often talk about the funny things he did while we were there.
We went sledding yesterday for almost 2 hours. It was about 1 degree so perfect weather. We had a good weekend here. Back to the daily busyness tomorrow. Tomorrow night, Josiah has a basketball practice, Ariane has gymnastics, and both Mariah and I have soccer games. Maybe we'll get Tevan to drive all of us to our activities and cook supper too!

What's the poisoning all about? Is that so bugs don't eat the wood.
HEY, I didn't realize this blog was still here, I thought it was only the other one and found this one today by accident!
